How My Feelings About The Platform Have Changed
Going live in February of 2005, YouTube has been around longer than many of the platforms we know today.
And everyone has watched at least one video from there, whether during class or in their free time.
I am a late bloomer when it comes to watching YouTube.
What I First Thought of YouTube
For a long time, I thought it was just a site for people too lazy to read a book. I made that opinion known to everybody I knew, which wasn’t many people.
But thinking back on it, much of that opinion came from my mom, who doesn’t believe in using it outside of workout videos.
Why I Started Watching YouTube Videos
Because of the thousands of workout videos on the platform.
It was during the height of the pandemic, so I didn’t have access or money for a gym membership. I also lived right next to a highway at the time, nixing the ability to go for long walks.
