Hi, I’m back.

I know I have been away for a bit, but a lot has been happening in my life, and I had to put writing on the back burner while it was unfolding.

But things have now settled, so let me give you a rundown.

We Got a Cat

Her name is Cleo. My roommate found her in the drive-thru of the McDonald’s by his work and couldn’t help but take her home.

And she’s the sweetest thing. I’ve been a dog girl for most of my life, but she’s pawed her way into my heart.

However, the dogs have a strong prey drive, and the kitty is afraid of them, so there’s a good chance we’ll be giving her away to my roommate’s cousin, which, while sad, is also for the best.

I Dyed My Hair Black

Yes, after over a year of not touching it, I decided it needed a color change.

It’s a little more intense than I anticipated, and the texture of my hair isn’t great right now, but I’m happy it’s all the same color again. I was getting tired of having two-toned hair.

I’m Single Again

We were only together for about a month before he ended things. And it sucked. I mean, what breakup doesn’t?
