My First D&D Session!
And How It Went
I finally did it!
After years of wanting to, I played my first D&D game a few days ago. And it was fun.
Where We Went
My roommate, his friend, and I went to Dragon’s Lair, a cool store for nerds and geeks within walking distance of the apartment. It sells comic books, board games, game accessories, and more.
It also has sign-ups for different game sessions, including D&D. So they signed up for a one-shot campaign, as I was supposed to be observing that first game.
How it Went
Well, when we arrived, we learned that someone had dropped out at the last minute, so I was able to take their spot.
I was nervous about suddenly being thrown into a campaign for a game I’d never played before, but everyone at the table was really friendly about it.
One of the players was the DM’s son, and he looked around ten but knew more than most of us.
