When Exes Try To Get Back With You

“Hey, wanna get back together?”

This happens to people all the damn time. Your partner breaks up with you, realizes they made a mistake, and asks to reunite as a couple again.

Why Do People Do This?

Why would someone break up with you, only to ask to get back with you? It’s jarring and emotionally confusing.

But after pondering this, I suppose there are a few reasons:

They Feel True Regret

Sometimes people are impulsive with their decisions and react harshly to a situation or to their thoughts at the time.

They Want to Manipulate You

Some people are assholes who want to play with your emotions and keep you hooked to them. Avoid them like the plague.

They Can’t Let You Go

Maybe the breakup was for the best, but they still want to be with you. Or at least have you around. Which isn’t healthy.
