It’s not something I often partake in, as it is not a natural bend for me talent-wise. But there is one type of craft that anyone can do in their free time.
Diamond painting.
Interesting name, I know, but it’s not with real diamonds. So, let’s dive into the world of this craft!
What is Diamond Painting?
It’s putting tiny plastic “diamond” beads onto a sticky canvas. Each color has a number assigned to it and a correlating symbol on the canvas (numbers, letters, symbols).
You can compare it to paint by numbers; only you don’t have to mix colors to get the exact shade you need for the picture.
I’ve done paint-by-numbers before, and trust me, it’s tedious, especially if painting isn’t second nature for you and you don’t think to paint right up to the edges of the spot you’re painting.
So, DP is an excellent middle ground.
